AGILON® MI Metaphyseal Implant

The AGILON® MI Metaphyseal Implants complement the modular AGILON® Shoulder System with a stemless, cementless treatment option. The additively manufactured TiAl6V4 components are available in five sizes and feature a highly porous EPORE® structure.

The AGILON® MI Metaphyseal Implants feature a central, tapered stem with four longitudinal blades and a collar that rests on the resected bone surface. All anatomical and CTA humeral caps of the AGILON® System can be combined with the metaphyseal implants.

AGILON® Omarthrose

The AGILON® shoulder system offers a modular treatment concept for osteoarthritis and defect arthropathy of the shoulder. The system enables both anatomical and reverse shoulder arthroplasty and offers various options for adapting the implant to the individual anatomy.

Conversion from anatomical to reverse shoulder arthroplasty is possible while retaining the bone-anchored components (stem and glenoid). Retroversion can be adjusted via the serrated connection of the humeral components. Eccentric humeral caps in different heights and diameters allow fine adjustment of the medio-lateral offset.

AGILON® trauma prosthesis 

The AGILON® shoulder system offers a modular treatment concept for reconstruction of the traumatically damaged shoulder joint. The different components enable anatomical or inverse shoulder arthroplasty and offer various options for adapting the implant to the individual anatomy.

The proximal implant length can be adjusted using extension pieces. Retroversion can be adjusted via the serrated connection of the humeral components. Eccentric humeral caps in different heights and diameters allow fine adjustment of the medio-lateral offset.

MUTARS® proximal humerus

The MUTARS® Proximal Humerus system is designed for the replacement of the proximal humerus and supports the functional restoration of the shoulder joint.

The modular humeral heads are available in three sizes and provide optimal contact with the glenoid to ensure stable and functional joint articulation. The slim head design combined with a slightly medializing geometry promotes improved soft tissue coverage and contributes to an anatomically appropriate reconstruction.

In addition to the anatomical heads, the MUTARS® Proximal Humerus system offers reverse heads and a glenosphere. Its use is possible in patients with an intact axillary nerve. The angled pairing of the humeral and scapular components provides additional stability, reduces the risk of dislocation, and improves range of motion (ROM).¹)

If required, the system can be expanded intraoperatively in a flexible manner: the proximal humeral replacement can be converted into a total humeral replacement. This modularity provides the surgeon with maximum flexibility and allows individual adaptation to the specific clinical situation.

The MUTARS® Proximal Humerus system is optionally available with a silver coating for infection prophylaxis in immunocompromised patients or for use in surgical environments with an increased risk of infection.

MUTARS® total humerus

The MUTARS® Total Humerus system enables complete modular reconstruction of the humerus. It has been developed to address complex oncological and reconstructive requirements. Thanks to the modular design of the MUTARS® system, both an anatomical proximal humerus and a reverse proximal humerus treatment can be selected intraoperatively for the MUTARS® Total Humerus, allowing flexible adaptation to the patient's individual clinical situation.

The straightforward intraoperative conversion from a distal or proximal humeral replacement to a total humeral replacement can simplify the surgical workflow and may help reduce operating time. Retention rings allow reliable reattachment of soft tissues via the attachment tube, thereby supporting the functional stability of the reconstruction.1),2),3)

MUTARS® humeral diaphysis

The MUTARS® humeral diaphysis is used to replace the diaphyseal section of the humerus. The system supports limb-preserving treatment and is designed specifically for reconstructive and oncological indications.

The MUTARS® humerus diaphyseal implant is optionally available with a silver coating, which may help prevent infection in patients with a weakened immune system.

EPORE® diaphyseal implant

The state-of-the-art EPORE® diaphyseal implant is a fully additively manufactured implant system designed for the treatment of bone defects of various etiologies in the diaphyseal regions of the femur, tibia, and humerus. Implantation in combination with a standard intramedullary nail is easy to learn and requires only a limited number of instruments in the operating room.

EPORE® was developed to achieve high porosity combined with a low modulus of elasticity. The material closely mimics the structure of natural bone, thereby promoting bone ingrowth into the implant and supporting biological integration.
