Overview
ICARA® radial head system
The completely innovative concept of the ICARA® radial head system allows for intraoperative adjustment and fine-tuning of the prosthesis preload. The three-part, modular head component can be adjusted intraoperatively to the required neck length for restoring joint tension and stability. This adjustment is continuously variable.
- distalization of the rotation center
- stable fixation by shifting the torque of the prosthesis to the level of the radial tuberosity
- various stem options
- cemented and cementless stems with variable collar heights to prevent stem subsidence.
- continuous length adjustment
- avoidance of overstuffing or gapping: the neck length is adjustable by 4 mm.
- multidirectional self-adjustment
- minimization of force peaks on the capitulum of the humerus due to optimal alignment of the head. The head can rotate up to 20°, allowing for perfect adjustment.
- implatan®

MUTARS® distal humerus 30 mm
MUTARS® distal humerus 30 mm is a fully coupled joint replacement system for the humeroulnar joint. The system has been developed to support the preservation of elbow function.
The MUTARS® distal humerus 30 mm is available in an HD version. The use of polyethylene (PE) as the articulation partner promotes gentle, long-lasting joint guidance. The integrated 7° laxity allows for physiological force transmission to the surrounding soft tissues and improved load distribution. This can minimise the risk of premature stem loosening.

MUTARS® total humerus
MUTARS® Total Humerus enables complete modular reconstruction of the humerus. This system has been developed to meet complex oncological and reconstructive requirements. Thanks to the modular design of the MUTARS® system, both the proximal anatomical and inverse humerus options can be selected intraoperatively with the MUTARS® Total Humerus. This allows for flexible adaptation to the patient’s individual clinical situation.
The simple intraoperative transition from a distal or proximal humeral prosthesis to a total humeral prosthesis can streamline the surgical procedure and help reduce operating time. Retention rings allow for reliable refixation of the soft tissues via the attachment tube, thereby supporting the functional stability of the reconstruction.1), 2), 3)

EPORE® diaphyseal implant
The state-of-the-art EPORE® diaphyseal implant is a fully additively manufactured implant system designed for the treatment of bone defects of various etiologies in the diaphyseal regions of the femur, tibia, and humerus. Implantation in combination with a standard intramedullary nail is easy to learn and requires only a limited number of instruments in the operating room.
EPORE® was developed to achieve high porosity combined with a low modulus of elasticity. The material closely mimics the structure of natural bone, thereby promoting bone ingrowth into the implant and supporting biological integration.
- Fractures or comminuted fractures in the diaphysis of the femur, tibia, and humerus
- metastasis-related bone loss in the diaphysis of the femur, tibia, and humerus
- traumatic bone defects where an external fixator is not indicated for medical reasons
- one-piece implant system
- can be combined with commercially available intramedullary nails
