The SLATME Congress is the Latin American counterpart to EMSOS and takes place every two years. Following events in Chile (2022) and Argentina (2024), the congress will be held in Uruguay for the first time in 2026. The venue is the Centro de Convenciones in Punta del Este.

The congress of the Latin American Society for Tumours of the Musculoskeletal System (SLATME) is regarded as one of the most important specialist events in the region and brings together experts from orthopaedics, traumatology, oncology, pathology, radiology and other disciplines.
