The cemented ic straight hip stem range is designed for primary arthroplasty and is available as a standard offset option and a lateralised offset option - each with a CCD angle of 135°. The universal instrument set enables a seamless intraoperative change from the standard version to the lateralised version or vice versa. Two surface-blasted finishes, which increase the surface area for maximising cement fixation, are available:
Due to its fine structuring Type II has an increased implant surface and thus allows for an optimized anchorange with bone cement. The ic-straight stem type I, which features only one groove, is also available as a highly polished version or with TiN coating.
