DiaLoc® hip stem
The tapered, rectangular cross-section of the DiaLoc® hip system provides the high rotational and axial primary stability. Load transmission is intended to extend over the entire length of the implant. The anatomical design of the inward curved region of the stems supports the pressfit anchorage in the proximal femur.
The incremental sizing of the DiaLoc® range has been implemented to optimise the patient's fit. There are 14 sizes of the standard offset version with a CCD angle of 131°. The lateralised offset version of the DiaLoc® comes in 7 sizes with a CCD angle of 127°.
The very rough surface of the stems consisting of implatan® TiAl6Nb7 according to ISO 5832-11 supports the secondary osseointegration.
