Cortina hip stem

The Cortina® hip stem system is an anatomical, cemented system with an extensive collar (orientated at 45° to the femoral axis) which encourages physiological proximal load transmission. The anatomical s-shaped geometry ensures rotational stability. A physiological / anatomical anteversion of 5° is built into the head-neck area of the stem. The system also includes all stems with titanium nitride (TiN) coating for patients with (suspected) metal sensitivity.

The Cortina® primary hip stem is available in standard and a lateralised versions and all sizes are available in the length of 170mm, size 1 is also available in the length of 130mm.

The Cortina® revision hip stem is available in lengths of 200mm, 250mm and 300mm.
